News Of the Week, Cesar Becoming Materazzi In the Zidane Game, and so on…

Howdy!
Well, I’m in a very good mood considering the fact that I have a physics exam first thing tomorrow morning. However, there are some good news and some bad. Well it depends how you look at things. (You have to read till the end to see the biggest news of the week)
First our defeat agains Georgia. We lost 2-1 (oh yes and I have to warn you-a lot of videos coming up). My Review will come on Wednesday (tomorrow another post about our successful year). So while your waiting for my post here are some highlights:

Moving on. Apart from that our boys had an amazing weekend after the international break. There were exactly 9 goals scored by our players. Just Matavž scored 2 goals. So we had 8 goalscorers in total. Let’s start with aour regular goal scorer-Josip Iličić. He scored against Cesena, the final result was 1-2 for his Palermo (Iličić scored the first goal). Have a look:

It is a work of art, isn’t it? Well, it was nominated for a goal of the week.

Next is Tim Matavž. As I already mentioned he scored both goals against Feyenoord, so our little young boy is growing. Here you go:

I think the first goal is amazing

Ohh no no, I can’t forget to mention Koren. YES HE SCORED! No, guys I’m not lying. I’m not that mean. He really scored. And no, no one pretendet to be him. He, our captain himself scored this goal. Oh yeah and they say (no I haven’t found the video, and no I haven’t seen the match-.-) the gaol was a beauty from 30 yards. Cool, huh? Well, I hope he brings something like that on our next qualification game.

Another joy to watch was Kirm’s goal:

Yes, that’s my Kirm. But c’mon man we need something like that when you play with our national team.

And then there are Komac and Miljatović who also scored. Oh yes and Brečko asissted Novakovič, Novakovič fell and penalty was blown. But Podolski took over the penalty and they won over Stuttgart thanks to our super duo Novagoal and Brečko!
But not one of those goals can compare to what happened to Cesar. He was “Zidaned”. Eto’o suddenly decided he wanted to refresh our memories and bring back year 2006 and Zinedine Zidane along with it. And because our poor Cesar was the nearest guy he was the victim
Ohh well, you’ll see what I’m talking ’bout.

We are famous I thought he’d never get up, I thought he was going to be numb forever seeing him on the floor lying.

Ahh, who doesn’t dive these days? I think football players would make amazing actors. But I have another thing to tell you:

Valter Birsa has become a father to a little boy called Nolan. He was born on Saturday November 20th around 1 am. Mateja and Valter are more than happy having a son. Congrats to all of them! I hope Nolan turns out to be next Xavi! No wait, I’m sure he’ll be.
